Maybe it’s just me, but literally everyone I know has been going to Italy this year—specifically, to Capri, an island off the Amalfi Coast. I’ve been seeing Capri’s enchanting Blue Grotto and seaside restaurants on my Instagram feed for what feels like forever, so last month I finally clicked “book” and grabbed my passport, ready to live la dolce vita. And boy, was it sweet—I sipped cappuccinos at Dior Café, took in the picturesque views atop Mount Solaro, and of course, shopped way too much. Oh, and I even had a sunset date with an Italian man. (Sadly, due to living 4,404 miles apart, it didn’t work out between us.) But honestly, the real standouts of my trip were the ultra-chic outfits and makeup looks I saw on my travels.
